Annual USA Lacrosse Recertification Requirements

1. Renew USA Lacrosse membership as a women’s official prior to your anniversary date.
2. Visit USA LACROSSE MEMBERSHIP to register.  MOWLOA encourages USAL membership for the extra insurance benefits provided.
3. Contact USA Lacrosse Membership Department at membership@uslacrosse.org if you need assistance.
4. Please select Mid-Ohio Women’s Lacrosse Officials Association as your local program affiliation.
5. Please be sure to register with the email address you intend to use for your assigning. If you currently use Dragonfly, they MUST be identical.

Renew your OHSAA permit number for Girls Lacrosse prior to December 31st

1. OHSAA is the sanctioning body in Ohio for the sport of girls scholastic lacrosse.
2. Renewals can be completed through myOHSAA. Renewals made after 12/31/2024 will incur a $50 late fee.
3. No renewals are permitted after 1/31/2024.
4. Complete the Online State Rules Meeting by March 23, 2024 (available 2/5/2024)

Complete a concussion awareness course or hold an active Pupil Activity Permit (must be renewed every 3 years)

1. Ohio House Bill 143 requires all officials to hold a non-expired concussion awareness certificate.
2. In order to obtain the certificate it is necessary to review a brief concussion awareness presentation via NFHS or CDC.
3. If you are an active Pupil Activity Permit holder this will suffice in meeting this requirement.
4. Upload your concussion or PAP documents to myOHSAA.

Pass the yearly online test with a score of 80% or greater 

1. Complete the NFHS online test by May 1 to maintain your OSHAA certification; or
2. Visit the eLearning Platform from your USA Lacrosse account for access to the online rules test to earn and subsequently maintain a USA Lacrosse rating by March 17.​

MOWLOA Dues & Requirements

1.  Pay $25 dues to MOWLOA by March 1st, 2024 via PayPal (@MOWLOA), Venmo (Amber-Kuehn-1), or by check to 1958 Westwood Ave, Columbus, OH  43212 .
2.  Attend one (1) OSHAA state rules interpretation meeting.
3.  Attend four (4) of six (6) local clinics/rules meetings.

Dues received after 3/1/2024 will incur a $20 late fee.
